Admissions Criteria

Age: For the Teen Group camp the young person must be between the ages of 12 and 17 years old for the duration of their stay.


*Young people with serious convictions/cautions will not be accepted.


For the "Individual Programme" camp young people must be between the ages of 12 and 21 years old.


Attitude: Young people must view the camp as an opportunity and be at least willing to attend, engage and fully participate. 

Medical: Teencamps-UK are not able to accept young people with medical issues that require hospitalisation or young people with a history of mental health issues which have resulted in hospitalisation.

Minimum number of places required to run a Group Camp:   There must be a minimum of 1 young person accepted for a camp to proceed and there will be a maximum of 5 young people at any one time.

 

All UK group programmes are held in North Wales and run from Sunday to Saturday inclusive (unless otherwise stated). 

All One to One programmes are held in the UK and will run from Sunday to Saturday inclusive (unless otherwise agreed).

 

Payment

If you are successful in your application then the full cost of the camp (and any extras you have requested) must be made within 24 hours of the place being offered. Payment can be made by either BACS or PayPal.



Our Dismissal Policy

Teencamps-UK is a safe environment for your young person and therefore  we reserve the right to remove any young person whose  actions create a safety risk, impedes the operation of the camp, or puts at risk the safety of staff, volunteers or other young people on the camp. 

Violence and threats of violence will not be tolerated and are causes for dismissal. 


Any Criminal activity (if involving the Police or not) is a cause for dismissal. 


Other dismissal offenses can include (but are not limited to) lewd behaviour, use of alcohol and/or use of illegal drugs.


In the event of any of the above it will be the responsibility of the parent(s)/ guardian(s) to arrange to collect the young person as soon as possible after they have been notified of the offence.


Please be aware that by submitting our online Application Form you are agreeing to pay for the programme, in full, if your application is successful and you wish to secure the place offered.

In agreeing to our terms and conditions you are entering into a legal contract with Teencamps-UK.

It is the parent(s)/guardian(s) responsibility to be at the advised pick up/ drop off location at the time agreed.

 

Cancellation Rights

 

If you have paid in full but wish to cancel the reserved place then you have a right to do so within 14 calendar days from the contract date and you will be entitled to a full refund (as long as the camp commencement date is not within 30 days of the payment date).

Please note that camps booked and paid for, in full, within 30 days of the camp commencing will not be entitled to a refund.

If you are offered a place on a camp but have only paid a deposit and not made full payment then will not be entitled to a refund of your deposit. 

 

 

If we change or cancel your programme.

Please note: we reserve the right to cancel your programme at any time if we feel it is necessary to do so. 


Although it is unlikely that we will have to make any changes to your camp arrangements, 

occasionally however, we may have to make changes and we reserve the right to do so at 

any time.

 If we do have to cancel a camp, due to reasons beyond our control, then we will advise you by email and will offer you a place on an alternative camp.



Consent Form

For Legal reasons, Parents/ Guardians will be required to sign an electronic Consent form and return this to us, by email only, before a young person is able to attend a camp. If we do not receive the form then your child will NOT be able to attend the camp.

  

If Teencamps-UK have to cancel for reasons outside of our control, we will advise you 

as soon as possible by email and will offer you an alternative camp. 

 

Teencamps-UK reserves the right to determine which young people we feel will benefit

 from attending a camp within our terms and conditions.


Teencamps-UK may change any aspect of this site or its content, including the availability

 of any features, information, price or other content, at any time without notice.

 The information and prices on this site are not 'live' and are updated from time to time.

 Every effort is made to ensure the accuracy of all information and prices but, regrettably,

 errors do occasionally occur. 

This Site is provided on an 'as is' and 'as available' basis.

 We do not accept any liability in respect of your inability to access or use this 

site at any time or for any interruption in that access or use, or for any failure to complete

 any transaction. 

We do not warrant that this site is free from computer viruses or other

 properties that may cause loss or damage.
